REMOVING TAR FROM A CAR:

As always, when using industrial strength tar remover please take care and use the proper safety equipment and caution. Maximize your safety and the safety of others by wearing gloves and eye protection, and working in a well-ventilated area.

For best results, apply Tar Release™ in the shade. On vehicles that have old or faded paint, Tar Release™ may discolor or remove some paint. Always try testing on an inconspicuous area first.

For small jobs, apply Tar Release™ to a scratch resistant cloth or paper towel. Wipe surface until road tar or bug residue is removed or reduced. Repeat as needed. Rinse when finished.

For bigger jobs, spray Tar Release™ directly on the surface. Let product start to dissolve road tar or bug residue and wipe away with a scratch resistant cloth or paper towel. Repeat as needed. Rinse when finished.

REMOVE ROOFING TAR:

As always, when using an industrial strength tar remover such as Tar Release™, please take care and use the proper safety equipment and caution. Maximize your safety and the safety of others by wearing gloves and eye protection, and working in a well-ventilated area.

Roofing tar from shingles, sealants, etc. is tough to remove. The longer Tar Release™ can work on dissolving the wet or dried roofing tar, the better the results. Start by applying a generous amount of Tar Release™ to wet the surface of the roofing tar you wish to remove. Let set for a few minutes. During that time, you will begin to see the roofing tar start to dissolve. Using a rag, putty knife, or other tool, carefully scrape/wipe the roofing tar from the surface taking care not to scratch the surface. Repeat as needed. Rinse when finished.

Tar Remover works on concrete (cement), stone, brick, metals, and vinyl.

DEGREASING A TRUCK:

As always, when using an industrial strength tar remover such as Tar Release™, please take care and use the proper safety equipment and caution. Maximize your safety and the safety of others by wearing gloves and eye protection, and working in a well-ventilated area.

To use as an engine degreaser, spray Tar Release™ on the surface of the engine. Allow adequate time for the product to work and loosen up the dirt, grease, etc. Times will vary depending on the thickness of the grime. The thicker the grime, the longer Tar Release™ will take. For very tough degreasing jobs consider more than one application. After adequate time, rinse the grime away. For best results use a power washer. Power washers with hot water work better than ones that don’t have hot water capability.

For lighter jobs, Tar Release™ can be prediluted with water and applied to the surface or it can be used with a power washer as the detergent. After cleaning, rinse all surfaces adequately as to not leave any residue.
